More than 2,600 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in North East, Md., on Aug. 27.

Bidders came from 43 countries, including 49 U.S. states. Approximately 87 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Spain, Peru and Vietnam. Online bidders purchased approximately 44 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

Close to 2,500 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including more than 50 excavators, 30 loader backhoes, more than 50 dump trucks, more than 110 truck tractors and more than 110 trailers.
