RMS to Host Road Connection Event

Thu March 15, 2012 - Midwest Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. welcomes The Road Connection to its facility in Savage, Minn., to introduce its customers to The Road Connection message. The Road Connection message explains the importance of federal funding for roads and bridges in the United States. Since January, The Road Connection has been taking this message to trade shows, open houses, manufacturers, and dealer events across the country. Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is supporting this initiative by inviting customers, industry experts, politicians and The Road Connection team to speak about the challenges facing U.S. infrastructure.

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. will be demonstrating the KPI FT4250 CC Recycle Crusher during The Road Connection’s visit. RMS will symbolically show the importance of bipartisan efforts to improve roadways as well as the capabilities of this crusher through this demonstration. Large chunks of concrete will be painted “Republican” red and “Democratic” blue that represent the partisan positions holding up approval of a long term highway bill in congress. These colored concrete chunks will be crushed to form a “bi-partisan” useful road building material with the separate colors noticeably gone. A long term federal highway bill would be the desired result of cooperation between the two parties.

RMS will host this event on April 5, 2012, with lunch being served at noon and the demonstration at 1:00 p.m.
