Rubble Master's acquisition of Maximus will allow the manufacturer to improve its product offering globally, and specifically for the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Rubble Master (RM) has acquired Northern Ireland-based screen manufacturer Maximus.
Maximus was founded in 2004 and currently employs 120 people. The company's products will complement the existing range of RM products. For customers and dealers, RM's acquisition of Maximus will result in a full line of crushing, recycling and screening products that will be available with the same reliable RM lifetime support and complete parts and service support customers expect, according to RM.
“This investment allows us to improve our product offering globally, and specifically for the U.S. and Canadian markets,” said Gerald Hanisch, president and owner of Rubble Master.
The venture already is driving new product developments and future growth, according to RM. A result of the new joint engineering and production capacities are the new RM HS3500M and RM HS5000M compact tracked scalping screens, which allow contractors to process a multitude of materials, such as excavated C&D waste, asphalt slabs and millings, topsoil, mulch, gravel and much more. Already being nicknamed the “Swiss-Army-Knife” because of its versatility, it's a must have for any contractor, said RM.
“This now opens up synergies in many areas,” said Günther Weissenberger, Rubble Master CFO. “We will benefit from shared suppliers and economies of scale.”
According to RM, in an increasingly competitive market, the company has prepared itself to provide world-class answers to future challenges and solidify its leading position among global crushing and screening manufacturers.
About Rubble Master
CEO Gerald Hanisch founded Rubble Master more than 25 years ago at a time when others were tentative about recycling construction and demolition waste industry. In 1992, Rubble Master unveiled the first compact crusher for the recycling of leftover bricks, asphalt, concrete or other debris. Aggregate obtained this way is used as fill or base material in many industries and projects. Contractors worldwide began to experience the efficiency and profit-making opportunities the machine provided on the job site.
In 1997, new manufacturing breakthroughs led to exports accounting for more than 97 percent of business, making Rubble Master a leader in compact crushing. Rubble Master is currently represented by more than 80 dealers in more than 110 countries. With its extensive dealer network in the United States and Canada, and a complete parts and service hub in Memphis, Tenn., Rubble Master is positioned to provide superior customer and product support throughout North America.
