R.W. Moore Equipment Company has added several new people to its team at locations throughout North Carolina.
The addition of staff is a reflection of the continued growth across eastern North Carolina, said President Dan Moore.
“We have been experiencing steady growth in 2006,” said Moore. “When you’re in an area that is constantly developing, there is always a need for construction equipment. R.W. Moore is meeting that need and hiring additional staff to ensure our client’s expectations are met.”
Sales
The full-service equipment provider specializing in John Deere machinery recently hired Sherwood Bass in Ahoskie, Woody Bullard in Fayetteville and Ed Baggett in New Bern.
Bass will specialize in construction equipment sales. Prior to joining R.W. Moore, he worked selling heavy trucks and managed commercial fleet of construction vehicles.
Bullard is a utility sales associate and will specialize in compact equipment sales. Prior to joining R.W. Moore, he worked for Sunbelt, Neff and Gregory Poole.
Baggett will specialize in construction equipment sales. Prior to joining R.W. Moore, he served as a sales associate of Prime Equipment and Hertz Equipment Rentals.
Service
Stephen Somers has been hired as the new shop foreman for the Greenville, NC, branch.
He will be responsible for overseeing the daily shop operations of the Greenville store. He has more than two decades of service experience and was previously a foreman for Piston Rings and Machine in Little Washington. In addition, Somers has previous operational management knowledge from running his own auto repair business.
Danny King will be the new service manager for the New Bern store.
He will be responsible for overseeing the daily service operations of the New Bern store. Prior to joining R.W. Moore, King worked with John Deere Agriculture Division. He has worked as a technician, service manager and customer service representative.
Parts
Robert Gotthardt has been added to the company’s parts team.
He will work in the parts warehouse and focus his duties on delivering parts among the six R.W. Moore locations.
This position is important to ensure that the service aspect of the operation is able to deliver a quick turn-around to R.W. Moore customers.
