R.W. Moore Equipment Company has added several new people to its team at locations throughout North Carolina.

The addition of staff is a reflection of the continued growth across eastern North Carolina, said President Dan Moore.

“We have been experiencing steady growth in 2006,” said Moore. “When you’re in an area that is constantly developing, there is always a need for construction equipment. R.W. Moore is meeting that need and hiring additional staff to ensure our client’s expectations are met.”

The full-service equipment provider specializing in John Deere machinery recently hired Sherwood Bass in Ahoskie, Woody Bullard in Fayetteville and Ed Baggett in New Bern.

Stephen Somers has been hired as the new shop foreman for the Greenville, NC, branch.

He will be responsible for overseeing the daily shop operations of the Greenville store. He has more than two decades of service experience and was previously a foreman for Piston Rings and Machine in Little Washington. In addition, Somers has previous operational management knowledge from running his own auto repair business.

Danny King will be the new service manager for the New Bern store.
