SANY America has a new crane distribution partnership with Road Machinery & Supplies Company of Savage, Minn. The agreement extends sales of SANY’s global crawler and rough terrain cranes to the northern midwest region.

“RMS has an exceptional reputation for customer service, and we are honored that they will represent our global crane products,” said Kyle Nape, vice president of global sales and marketing at SANY America. “Over the next 12 months, SANY America and RMS will pursue an aggressive strategy to field machines in the bridge building, agricultural and industrial sectors.”

RMS primarily serves contractors in the road construction sector and plans to expand its crane business to the wind farms of North Dakota and Iowa. SANY’s broad range of global hoisting machinery allows a single product line to serve most lifting applications.

“When we began looking to expand our product offerings, SANY stood out because of the breadth of the product offerings and the investment the company has made in North America,” said Michael Sill, president and CEO of RMS. “After traveling to the company’s headquarters, it became clear that SANY will be a major player for many years to come.”

SANY America markets SANY Heavy Industry’s global line of crawler cranes, rough terrain cranes and port machinery. Last fall, the company announced plans to construct a $25 million R&D center alongside its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Peachtree City, Ga. When complete, the site will employ 300 hydraulic and mechanical engineers.
