Schlouch Incorporated meets with township and city officials to discuss the Skyline Drive Improvements project. The project was made possible through grants awarded to the city of Reading, Alsace Township and Lower Alsace Township.
New projects at Schlouch Incorporated include major residential, public and commercial sites in Berks and throughout its southeastern marketing area. Here are some projects that Schlouch will be accomplishing this year.
Adams County
Fairfield Area School District has named Schlouch Incorporated to provide track renovations for the Fairfield Area High School Stadium, Fairfield Road, Fairfield, Adams County, Pa. Schlouch is providing survey, stakeout, demolition, earthwork, storm sewers, paving, landscaping, seeding and track surfacing. Work will be completed in the summer 2017.
Berks County
Wyomissing Area School District selects Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the site for a tennis court renovation project at the Athletic Field Complex, Wyoming Avenue, Wyomissing, Berks County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, survey, stakeout, demolition, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, storm sewers, concrete, paving, landscaping, seeding and court resurfacing. Work will be completed in the summer 2017.
Lower Alsace Township has named Schlouch Incorporated to perform roadwork improvements along Skyline Drive in three municipalities including Alsace Township, Lower Alsace Township and city of Reading, Berks County, Pa. Schlouch will be performing road widening, milling, roadway reconstruction, wall reconstruction, asphalt paving, pavement markings and signage. Work will be completed in the summer 2017.
Amity Township chooses Schlouch Incorporated to handle its 2017 paving project. Schlouch will be paving various sections of roads that include Glenwood Drive, Aspen Court, Willowwood Drive, Willowwood Court, and Birchwood Court. Work will be completed mid-summer 2017.
Kutztown Area School District has selected Schlouch Incorporated to provide improvements for the stadium located on Trexler Avenue. Schlouch will provide clearing, survey, stakeout, grubbing, demolition, sediment & erosion control, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, building pad, concrete, curbs, paving, landscaping and seeding. Schlouch also is providing track surfacing, sodding and irrigation. Work will be completed during the summer 2017.
Ruscombmanor Township selects Schlouch Incorporated to handle its 2017 road project. Schlouch is providing paving along Fry Road, Rapp Road, Ridgecrest, Ariel, Stone Barn, Maple Shade, Daisy Lane and Sunnyfield. The project will be completed mid-summer 2017.
Bucks County
Prologis L.P. selected Schlouch Incorporated to handle design and sitework improvements for the Quakertown Commerce project. The site is located in Milford Township, Bucks County, Pa. Schlouch provided survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, earthwork, storm sewers, water line installation, roads, curb, concrete, paving and seeding. Work was completed in spring 2017.
Chester County
Unitex Asphalt Services named Schlouch Incorporated to provide concrete work at the On the Go Kids Bus Lot located on South Chestnut Street, Downingtown, Chester County, Pa. Schlouch provided slip-form curbing. Work was completed in spring 2017.
Lebanon County
Springwood Development Partners LP chooses Schlouch Incorporated to handle sitework improvements and value engineering for the commercial and residential phases at Springwood, a 40-acre site located in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon County, Pa. Schlouch is providing survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, clearing, grubbing, demolition, blasting, rock removal, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, building pads, roads, curb, concrete, paving, seeding and landscaping. Schlouch also is providing HOP intersection improvements. Work will be completed in the fall 2017 through spring 2018.
Lehigh County
Trexler Fields Twin Home Project L.L.C. has named Schlouch Incorporated to perform earthwork services for 16 lots for the Trexler Fields Phase 1B project. The site is located on Trexler Road, Lehigh County, Pa. Schlouch is providing survey, earthwork, and a detention basin. Work will be completed in the summer 2017.
Montgomery County
Envision Land Use has named Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the site for Estates at Macoby Run — Phase 4B, a 26 single-home residential community. The Estates are located at Cedarbrook Lane and 11th Street, Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery County, Pa. Schlouch is providing survey, stakeout, earthwork, sediment/erosion control, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pads, curbs and paving. Work will be completed in the summer 2017.
CalAtlantic Homes selects Schlouch Incorporated to provide site preparation for Morgan Tract, a 28-acre site featuring 26 single-family homes and 63 townhouses. Morgan Tract is located on Route 29, Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, blasting, rock removal, earthwork, sediment/erosion control, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pads, concrete, curbs, paving and seeding. Work will be completed in the winter 2017.
Upper Providence Equities LLC selected Schlouch Incorporated to prepare the site for The Shoppes at Upper Providence, a 10-acre site on Ridge Pike, Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, Pa. Schlouch is providing clearing, grubbing, survey, stakeout, demolition, rock removal, earthwork, sediment/erosion control, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, building pads, concrete, curbs, paving, landscaping, seeding and HOP work. Work will be completed in the fall 2017.
Northampton County
Sterling Estates LLC selects Schlouch Incorporated to perform sitework improvements for the Sterling Crossing (Phase 2) project. The project is located in Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pa. Schlouch is providing survey, stakeout, sediment/erosion control, clearing, grubbing, blasting, rock removal, earthwork, sanitary and storm sewers, water line installation, roads, curbs, paving and seeding. Work will be completed in the summer 2017.
Strausser Enterprises named Schlouch Incorporated to pave the parking lot at the Riverview CC Clubhouse in Forks Township, Northampton County, Pa. The project at Riverview CC Clubhouse included milling as well as overlaying the existing lot. Work was completed in the spring 2017.
