Screen USA Inc. has added the TROM6090 to its full line of portable screening equipment. Screen USA Inc. is an American manufacturer of portable screening plants and wood grinders located in Smyrna, Ga., since 1973. Screen USA offers portable shaker screens, trommel screens, starscreens, wood grinders and conveyors. By offering its customers all of the different types of screening technologies, Screen USA is able to provide appropriate screening technologies for the customers’ particular application.

According to the owner Rick Cohen, “we sell the customer what he needs to get the job done. “Too many companies sell only one or two technologies and push on the customer what they have in stock or on the yard, not necessarily what they need.

“The Screen USA 6090 was designed to fill a gap in our trommel screening line. We offer a smaller TROM406HM and a TROM406HMSL, which are small trommel screens that target the skid steer market. Many of our customers have outgrown the smaller machines and need a medium sized trommel, without the large price tag.

The Screen USA TROM6090 is equipped with a stout 5 cu. yd. (3.8 cu m) hopper, hydraulic tipping grizzly (remote control), 36 in. (91 cm) wide drag chain feeder (variable speed), optional shredder/pulverizer, trommel screen (easy change), and a 30 in. (76 cm) wide built-on high speed slinger conveyor.

The machine can not only be pulled by a 1-1/2 ton pick-up truck via military pintle, but it can be equipped with a shredder/pulverizer which will break up the clump soil/compost before screening, according to the manufacturer.

As the name suggest, the 6090 will screen approximately 60 to 90 cu. yds. (46 to 69 cu m) per hour. In dry material it has exceeded 120 cu. yds. (84 cu m) per hour, according to the manufacturer.
