In a display of innovation, SHIELDS Windshields of Martinsville, Ind., is launching a new windshields product — a Case Minotaur polycarbonate front windshield — by fulfilling a special-order request from a customer. The windshield is designed to offer advanced optical clarity, impact resistance and increased thermal and acoustic insulation, according to the company.

This accomplishment showcases the company's commitment to designing and producing high-quality products while catering to individual customer needs. This special order has led to advancements for both the SHIELDS company and the industry.

Recognizing the importance of fulfilling its customer's needs, the manufacturer dedicated substantial resources to research and development, pushing the boundaries of polycarbonate windshield design. SHIELDS' team of experts collaborated to ensure the new product would deliver outstanding performance, durability and functionality. Throughout the design and development process, the manufacturer is leveraging the latest advancements in polycarbonate technology and manufacturing techniques.

By utilizing proprietary techniques and their SUPERCOAT hard coating, SHIELDS windshields not only enhance driver safety but also prolong the lifespan of the windshield, according to the company. SHIELDS Windshields products are 260 times stronger than glass, half the weight of glass, scratch resistance and optically correct, said the manufacturer.
