SMH Group Adds Komatsu Company Stores to Its Dealer Network

The SMH Group partners with Komatsu Company Stores East to expand material handling equipment availability on the US East Coast. Komatsu's extensive network and support combined with Atlas and Mantsinen machines provide solutions for various industries. The SMH Group, a national distributor of Atlas and Mantsinen material handlers, announced a new dealer partnership with Komatsu Company Stores East.

This strategic collaboration aims to enhance the availability and support of high-quality material handling equipment across the United States East Coast.

Komatsu Company Stores East, known for its extensive inventory and exceptional service support, operates across 11 branches in five states, including Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Komatsu Company Stores East leverages Komatsu's global service and distribution network while providing local solutions and expertise.

The SMH Group now has a network of eight dealers in 21 states that offer specialized equipment solutions from Atlas and Mantsinen for port operations, recycling, scrap metal, demolition, waste management, logging and several other industries.

Atlas material handlers range in size from the 44,000 lbs. Atlas 200 MH to the 125,000 lbs. Atlas 520 MH. The German-engineered machines are known worldwide for their fast cycle times, optimized handling and extended life span, according to the manufacturer.

The Finnish-made Mantsinen material handlers pick up where Atlas leaves off. The Mantsinen 60 is 160,000 lbs., and the gigantic Mantsinen 300 is one of the largest machines of its kind in the world, tipping the scales at over 900,000 lbs. and with a reach over 130 ft.

Customers can expect improved access to a diverse range of material handling solutions backed by the combined expertise and support services of both the SMH Group and Komatsu Company Stores, the companies said. This collaboration is poised to set a new standard in the material handling equipment market, emphasizing quality, reliability and customer satisfaction.
