Southeastern Equipment Co., Inc. has announced the launch of the new www.southeasternequip.com. Features include enhanced search and navigation, revised mobile interface, expanded customer and salesman resources, contemporary design, and an improved user experience.
“We're excited to offer a brand-new online experience to our customers,” says Charlie Patterson, president at Southeastern Equipment. “The new website is another step in our company-wide rebranding plan that better represents the Southeastern image throughout their locations.”
The new site includes additional content, improved search functionality, and optimization for mobile devices to allow customers to interact with Southeastern Equipment at work or on the go. Customers can also browse new equipment by type, manufacturer, or specific industry, and can request additional information or a price quote online.
“Our customers can easily navigate between our three divisions, Southeastern Equipment, Environmental, and Rents,” notes Thor Hess, director of corporate development at Southeastern Equipment. “The consolidation presents a unified identity and showcases all we offer at Southeastern.”
In addition to new equipment, customers can request quotes for equipment service, rentals, and parts and have access to an online parts catalogue for easy access to parts for their equipment. The site also features an improved way to search and purchase used equipment.
“Our mission is to provide our customers with the equipment and services they need to boost their productivity,” adds Patterson. “The consumer-focused design of the site accomplishes that, while keeping their experience consistent between the website and our brick-and-mortar locations.”
Southeastern partnered with the Columbus based web development company, Chepri, to carry out the project. The initial efforts included a company-wide rebrand to refresh the image and unify all Southeastern locations and culminated with the website development and launch. Southeastern plans to add more features to the digital platform through a second phase of development.
“This project was made possible thanks to our team effort, and we couldn't be happier with the result.” says Andrea Jimenez, marketing manager at Southeastern Equipment. “The new features support customers and employees alike, and we hope the site becomes a reliable resource for the industry.”
