Four new hires - in a variety of positions - bring a wealth of talent and experience to the company.

Southeastern Equipment Company recently announced several new hires.
Mike Townsend has joined the company as parts assistant at the Cambridge, Ohio location. He is responsible for equipment parts sales in Guernsey, Muskingum, and Coshocton counties.
“We’re happy to welcome Mike to our team,” said Charlie Patterson, president of Southeastern Equipment.
For the last seventeen years he has honed his glass installation and customer service skills as a glazier with Townsend Glass Inc.
Southeastern Equipment Company also recently welcomed Kevin O’Keefe as an outside sales representative at the Holt, Mich., location. O’Keefe is selling the entire line of equipment throughout southeastern Michigan in Livingston, Genesee, Washtenaw and Shiawassee counties, as well as in Hingham, Wis.
“We’re glad to welcome Kevin to our sales team,” said Charlie Patterson, president of Southeastern Equipment. “He brings years of sales experience, including training, to our group. We look forward to seeing the contributions he’ll be making.”
He has extensive experience in sales for both the medical and pharmaceutical industries, including two years as a field sales representative trainer at Johnson & Johnson.
Tim Johnson has rejoined the company as sales representative at the Perrysburg, Ohio location. Johnson is selling the full line of equipment throughout northwestern Ohio, including Wood County.
“We’re glad to welcome Tim back to our sales team,” said Charlie Patterson, president of Southeastern Equipment. “He has a great deal of experience in the field, and we look forward to seeing his contributions.”
With more than 10 years of experience selling equipment, Johnson is a seasoned sales veteran. He was a sales representative at Southeastern Equipment Co. in Perrysburg for six years, then worked with a John Deere dealership for five years.
Last but not least, Joel Merchant has joined the company as outside sales representative of the Holt, Mich., location. Merchant is selling the full line of products throughout southern Michigan, in Lenawee, Hillsdale, Calhoun, Jackson, Eaton, Clinton and Branch counties.
During the past three years, he was a field salesman for Bonnie Plants where he also gained experience in marketing and displays.
