Kevin Belflower has been promoted to the position of president and CEO of Stafford.

Belflower has compiled a history of success during his lifelong career in the heavy construction equipment industry.

Prior to working for Stafford, Belflower sold Caterpillar equipment for Carlton Company, across a variety of territories in South Georgia. It was his passion for selling and keen understanding of product support that caused him to become a top achiever.

Belflower brought these same attributes to Stafford in 2005, when be joined the company to serve as regional vice president of the company’s three South Georgia locations. During his time in this position, the locations enjoyed substantial market share increases in both the construction and agricultural equipment markets, due to his various contributions and insights into the operational issues of the business.

In late 2007, Belflower was promoted to senior vice president/sales manager of the entire Stafford organization. His mission was to replicate the success across the organization through common practices in regard to sales, service and parts. As a result, the organization became more efficient. Stafford also became stronger and more diverse, as well, by adding the KPI-JCI, Astec Mobile Screens, Kawasaki and Dynapac lines during the past couple of years.

“Kevin Belflower has made our organization better in every capacity that he has served. By appointing him as president and CEO of Stafford, we are positioning ourselves for an even stronger future,” said DeNean Stafford, president / CEO and chairman of the board of Stafford Development Company, Stafford’s parent company. “Kevin is well respected by everyone that he comes in contact with, from the manufacturers to the customers.”

“I am honored and excited to be working with such a dedicated group of professionals. Our employees, all across the board, are firmly focused on taking care of our customer’s needs,” Belflower said. “We look forward to meeting all market challenges head-on and continuing to exceed our customer’s expectations when it comes to rentals, sales, parts and service.

“We look forward to many more decades of growth by offering the best product lines in the market place,” he added.

Stafford began in Tifton, Ga., in 1951, as Reliable Tractor and today represents many equipment lines and attachments, in select areas, across the Southeast.
