Stafford is now the Screen USA distributor in all of the company’s locations from Virginia to Georgia.

With the addition of the Screen USA products to Stafford’s existing lines of crushing and screening equipment, company representatives said Stafford is now a complete screening source for its customers needs, from entry-level small operations to large-scale producers.

With fuel and transportation costs escalating, processing material on-site is becoming paramount for cost savings, and Screen USA designs and manufactures machines that are easily portable. In addition to it being American made, Stafford was drawn to the Screen USA line because it is built in Stafford’s “backyard.” The nearby location provides Stafford with complete factory support and quick turnaround for manufactured units.

Stafford will stock Screen USA products and serve as a full service-rentals, parts, sales, and service distributor. The company just recently wrapped up the last of three factory training sessions for its sales, service and parts personnel.

“We’re excited to have Stafford as a distributor,” said Rick Cohen, president of Screen USA. “Some of the territory that is now being covered by Stafford used to be factory direct sales. We saw the opportunity to partner with a quality specialized provider to give us the ability to redirect a bit and concentrate on taking our manufacturing business to the next level to include the export market, as well as providing our distributors with the best support possible.”

This is the first time Screen USA has relinquished sales and support responsibilities in Georgia.

“As you grow, sometimes you have to let go,” Cohen said. “To grow our business, my main focus was to first find a company that completely met my standards to take over some of our east coast distribution. I found that company in Stafford.”

According to Arthur Leonard, Stafford’s regional sales manager for crushing and screening products, “We’re very happy to add the Screen USA products to our lineup. With this addition, we are now able to offer effective screening solutions to a greater variety of customers, including landscape contractors and nurseries.”

Darren Kirby, Stafford’s regional sales manager for crushing and screening products, agreed with Leonard’s remarks and said, “I’m excited to be able to offer the Screen USA line to our customers across North Carolina and Virginia. With this line, we’re now able to offer additional price points to our customers. It’s also good to offer a full line of products made in USA, to go along with the equipment we offer from KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens.” CEG Staff
