Stephenson Equipment Draws More Than 150 Attendees to Demo Day Event, Featuring JCB's Dancing Diggers

Crews from all over the greater Philadelphia area gather at Stephenson Equipment to watch the JCB equipment demo. An associate demonstrates the JCB 4CX backhoe loader for attendees. A JCB associate fearlessly shows off just how strong the JCB 4CX backhoe loader really is. Alex Wood, regional sales manager of JCB, emcees the event. The JCB GT X-0010 Dragster punctuated the product demo with a blaze of fire and smoke.

Stephenson Equipment's JCB Demo Day drew a crowd of more than 150 attendees from all over the greater Philadelphia area Sept. 7 to test the latest equipment, talk with reps and watch JCB's amazing Dancing Diggers.

Stephenson Equipment provided six different pieces of equipment from its large JCB inventory for attendees to try out at Stephenson's Prospect Park, Pa., location, including the 3GS Teleskid skid steer, 4CX backhoe loader and the 110W Hydradig. With its road-ready wheels, the Hydradig was a particularly big hit among test drivers.

Throughout the day, crowds were treated to performances by JCB's Dancing Diggers, emceed by JCB Regional Sales Manager Alex Wood. Highlights included a JCB associate fearlessly elevating the 4CX backhoe loader into the air, balanced on its buckets, and a spectacular finale featuring the JCB GT X-0010 Dragster shooting flames.

The festivities continued with lunch from Brewster's Bar-B-Que, raffles, door prizes and a chance for attendees to test their skills operating a JCB 86C-1 ECO mini-excavator at a rodeo event. Door prize and raffle winners included: Mark Vitanza of West Bradford Township; Scott Miller of Limerick Township Public Works; Mike Tome of London Grove Township; Joey Swift of London Grove Township; Bob King of Mahanoy City Borough; and David Henning of Limerick Township.

Stephenson also awarded prizes consisting of gift bags, cash and gift cards for the fastest times at the rodeo. First place went to Paul Lizzi of Warminster Township for a time of 1:07:21; second place went to Sean Farrell of Limerick Township for a time of 1:07:95; and third place went to Nate Hughes of London Grove Township for a time of 1:18:31.
