National Trench Safety LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, trench and traffic safety engineering, and OSHA-compliant training classes, has hired Steve Brinkley as its branch manager for the company’s Burlington, N.C., location. Brinkley also will be overseeing the Raleigh, N.C., branch for the next few months.

"We are very excited to have Steve joining our team," said Ron Chilton, president of NTS. "Steve will have an immediate impact as we build on positive momentum in the Raleigh market and officially launch a rental operation in Burlington. Steve has a solid background in the trench safety industry, as well as in the local North Carolina markets that will make him an immediate asset to our customer base."

Brinkley has worked in the equipment rental industry for the last nine years, including time as branch manager of Coble Trench Safety and most recently as branch manager of Blueline Rentals, formerly Volvo Rents in the Greensboro, N.C. market.

"Steve’s addition immediately strengthens our overall branch network in the mid-Atlantic region," said Chilton. "We have strong performance expectations for the Raleigh and Burlington locations as we continue to strengthen our presence along the East Coast."

NTS currently has 21 operating branch locations nationwide. Those locations are spread throughout Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.

In maintaining its objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open additional branch operations in 2014.
