Multiquip recently announced that Bob Stevens, who has worked for Multiquip for more than 23 years is retiring. Stevens began his career with the company as district manager for the Florida territory in 1978.

Stevens’ sales talent became evident as he doubled sales his first year. In 1980, he was named Multiquip Salesman of the Year and in 1981 he was promoted to Eastern regional manager where he again doubled sales. During that time, Stevens hired Roger Euliss, Multiquip’s current president and CEO, as the Florida district manager.

Stevens then joined MQ Power as the welding products manager and later served as the division’s Eastern regional manager. He lead the company into the new telecommunications market as manager of the Telecommunication’s Division, his final position with the company.

“Multiquip and MQ Power recognize and appreciate all of Stevens’ hard work, effort and leadership over the past 23 years. He has played important roles in the growth and success and will be missed by his many friends and associates at Multiquip and our industry,” Irv Levine, chairman and founder of Multiquip said.
