To meet the new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier-IV standard, Sullair has redesigned its line of portable air compressors utilizing advanced emission control technology for compliance with these guidelines. Decreasing exhaust emissions and sulfur levels by as much as 99 percent, the new line of compressors offers a cleaner alternative to the older Tier-II or Tier-III products. Like all Sullair products, the new Tier-IV 1600 family of portable air compressors was designed for total accessibility and reliability, according to the manufacturer.

With the goal of making dependable, quality products accessible at every level, Sullair also has the Sullair Certified REMAN Program. The REMAN program is a factory authorized remanufacturing program for Sullair 1600H AF portable air compressors, featuring genuine OEM parts. Unlike a refurbishing program in which parts are only replaced once they become unusable, the REMAN program begins with a fully disassembled Sullair used air compressor core and requires each component to undergo a thorough inspection process. Following inspection, parts are cleaned, serviced or replaced to ensure that each component meets the same high standards as new Sullair products. As a result, Sullair Certified REMAN compressors perform like new, and come with the same factory warranty as a new Sullair air compressor.

"Customers wanting to avoid the hassle of selling their old machinery or hoping to extend the life of their rental fleets can now consider our new REMAN program as an economically savvy option," said Carrie-Ann Flank, general manager-portables of Sullair. "Certified REMAN compressors run like new and help our customers avoid rental revenue loss with less downtime." Flank also emphasized that REMAN air compressors undergo the same rigorous testing and quality control as new Sullair air compressors, and "eliminate the need for additional service technicians or end user training on new Tier-IV machines."
