Sweepster Model LA Cleans Up Debris

Wed May 10, 2000 - Northeast Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

Sweepster’s model LA attachment rotary sweeper quickly attaches in place of the bucket on large loaders and tractors and it can also be installed onto pickup trucks. It requires a hydraulic drive system of 20 to 40 gpm at 2,000 psi.

The LA is a low maintenance machine designed with two casters for increased brush wear. The LA gives contractors more versatility and options with their existing equipment, often freeing up equipment to perform other construction related tasks.

The model LA features:

• Parallel linkage mounting letting the sweeper follow the ground contours without strain to the loader or brush

• 2.4-meter by 81-centimeter (8 ft. by 32 in.) diameter sectional brush

• 30 degree left and right angling

• Choice of poly, wire or poly/wire combination bristles

• Heavy-duty casters.

Options include hydraulic angle change, 180 degree brush hood, dirt deflector, sight indicators and 2.7- to 3-meter (9 to 10 ft.) wide brushes.
