Takeuchi-US has announced Scott Herr as the new northeast regional service manager. Herr’s responsibilities include service and warranty support for the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. The support includes handling service issues, warranty issues, technical support and service training.

Herr has been working with Takeuchi since May of 2015. He previously was employed by CNH Industrial America for more than 20 years and he also worked at Manitou for five years where he held similar service positions.

“Scott has excellent diagnostic skills and gets to the heart of the problem quickly,” said Mike Ross, director of operations at Takeuchi-US. “He has a great technical service background on compact equipment and works very hard to take care of all the customers in his region. We are pleased to have him onboard.”

The move is one of several positive structural changes for Takeuchi in their service department recently, which includes Ron Snyder as national service and warranty manager, Tom Reichling as northwest regional service manager, Gary Bryan as service support manager, and Joe Topia as a national service training manager.

“The goal is always to provide the best possible technical service and warranty support to our customers, which has always been a strength of our company,” Ross said. “These changes better align each employee with the position and responsibilities that maximize our product support experience for our dealers and customers.”
