Takeuchi Names Bennett Equipment as Newest S.C. Dealer

The company will carry the full line of Takeuchi compact earthmoving equipment.

Takeuchi-US has announced Bennett Equipment & Supply Co. as its newest dealer in South Carolina. Located in Piedmont, S.C., the company will carry the full line of Takeuchi compact earthmoving equipment, including compact excavators, compact track loaders, compact wheel loaders and skid steer loaders.

Founded in 2000, Bennett Equipment is a locally owned full line construction equipment rental and sales company. The company specializes in providing equipment and supplies to the masonry and concrete industry, as well as offer equipment and supplies for all other construction trades.

“We have been in business now 15 years and we have a very loyal and vast customer market,” said Eddie Bennett, owner of Bennett Equipment and Supply in Piedmont, S.C. “Tacheuchi and Bennett Equipment, we have been speaking to each other for quite sometime and the timing was right for us to come on board as the dealer for Tacheuchi in upstate South Carolina. We feel that not only through our rental fleet, but also the machines we will sell to contractors in our market — it’’s a great product, top of the line product and one of the most respected — they made the first track loader ever and the first track mini-excavator. So with their experience and our experience we feel it’s a good partnership and we expect to do great things.”

Bennett Equipment now offers Takeuchi compact equipment in two locations including Piedmont and Roebuck (Spartanburg trade area), S.C., to serve customers’ needs. The company’s area spans from Piedmont, S.C., to Spartanburg, S.C. Bennett Equipment is a full service dealer providing parts and service support for all Takeuchi equipment needs.

“We are very excited to begin our partnership with Bennett Equipment, who is a major dealer in upstate S.C.,” said Kim Robinson, Takeuchi director of sales. “They are a customer-first oriented dealer and are continuing to grow. There is a big compact equipment need in their area and they are a natural fit for us as a dealership.”
