Takeuchi-US, a global compact equipment manufacturer, has added Kirby-Smith Machinery Inc. to its dealer network, serving construction, paving, mining, pipeline, aggregate and industrial customers in Oklahoma and Texas.

Established more than 30 years ago in Oklahoma City, Okla., Kirby-Smith now has 10 locations in the United States with Takeuchi products available in six of the dealer's stores. This includes Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla., in addition to Lubbock, Odessa, Amarillo and Abilene, Texas.

“Kirby-Smith has tremendous customer loyalty due to its strong service reputation,” said Kim Robinson, director of sales at Takeuchi-US. “This along with taking an active role in our industries has led them to expanding throughout the south. We are looking forward to our partnership and know they will do a great job with the Takeuchi offering.”

“Takeuchi has a great product line and our customers will appreciate how they fully stand behind it,” said Ed Kirby, president of Kirby-Smith. “Their compact equipment opens up a new market for us that we were missing with landscapers and small utility contractors among others. We already have a lot of interest from customers and are looking forward to working with Takeuchi.”

Kirby-Smith will carry the full lineup of Takeuchi products, including excavators, skid steers, track loaders and wheel loaders. The team at Kirby-Smith will provide professional sales, rental and aftermarket support for the Takeuchi products. Kirby-Smith's knowledgeable staff has been fully trained in the application, sales, parts and service side of Takeuchi product line and stands ready to offer prompt and professional customer support.
