Students at West Chester East High School will soon be playing on new athletic fields constructed by Pickering Valley Landscape Inc., Glenmore, PA. Part of a $5-million expansion and renovation project, the construction of the fields is now in its finish grade stage.

Sean O’Donnell, president of Pickering Valley, purchased a new Takeuchi TL 150 from Eagle Power & Equipment, Montgomeryville, PA, for the project. According to O’Donnell, the job required a versatile compact machine with enhanced grading and flotation capabilities. He knew from experience that the TL150 would be perfect for the job.

With the purchase of the new machine, Pickering Valley’s fleet now includes three TL150s and a TL130.

“The grading capabilities of this machine are fantastic, and it performs very well in the construction of retaining walls,” said John Siebert, Pickering Valley’s superintendent.

“With the weather we’ve been having, the rubber tracks have been a godsend,” said O’Donnell. “This machine works fine, even in the mud, and track wear hasn’t been an issue at all. In fact, the TL150 has exceeded our expectations.”

Pickering Valley Landscape Inc. has been in business for 14 years. Since its inception, the company has relied on Eagle Power & Equipment for its equipment needs.
