When Morristown, N.J., wanted to convert an empty retail space into a new Whole Foods, it turned to Terco Construction to oversee the project. Terco managed all of the site development for the 19,000 sq. ft. building and worked with the municipal departments to receive approval for every aspect of the project.

The project required about five months to complete, and the new Whole Foods was open to the public on April 22, 2015. Brian Hendricks, president of Terco Construction, said the machines they purchased from Hoffman Equipment were critical to finishing the job quickly and efficiently.

“About 90 percent of the equipment we acquire is from Hoffman, and all models have always served us well for any project. For the Whole Foods project, we used a 190T JCB. If we ever needed a part, Hoffman delivered it to us within hours. They also came to the job site whenever we needed repairs.”

The Morristown project wasn’t the first time that Terco worked with Whole Foods. In 2013, Terco transported reclaimed bricks for a new energy efficient Whole Foods in New York.

“We had demolished a building in Newark, New Jersey, and transported the used bricks to the Brooklyn site for the new Whole Foods,” said Hendricks.
