B-C Equipment Sales Inc. is now the authorized distributor of Terex Fuchs material handlers in south Texas, which includes the San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Brownsville markets, for Terex Construction Americas. With three locations covering the region, B-C Equipment now provides its customers local sales and service support for the broad Terex Fuchs equipment line, purpose-built to boost operating efficiencies in portside, scrap, recycling and logging applications.

“The good people of B-C Equipment provide strong service support for their customers, are a solid performer for the Terex compact and telehandler lines, and are very involved in their community,” said Terex Construction Americas Sales Director Martin Gonzalez. “Having B-C Equipment’s strong distributor representation at the local level will help operations in this region be more productive and efficient.”

“While other equipment distributors support this region from elsewhere, B-C Equipment has multiple local offices within this territory. This is a main reason why they have been so successful over the past 28 years in retail, rental and service,” said Kevin Chambers, regional sales manager of Terex Fuchs.

The broad Terex Fuchs material handling line features machines offering high lift capacities, 27- to 72-ft. (8.2 to 22 m) working radii and operating weights ranging from 41,888 to 147,710 lb. (19,000 to 67,000 kg). The recently introduced Terex Fuchs Telematics system for material handlers provides critical operating data to help companies control costs, while increasing machine uptime. Purpose-built to boost operating efficiencies in scrap, waste, recycling, port and logging applications, the Terex Fuchs line features durable wheel- and track-driven undercarriage designs, elevating cabs, intuitive controls, rigid hydraulic pipes on the stick and a double-row slewing ring. Zero-exhaust-emissions electric handlers in either semi-mobile or stationary designs are available to help further control long-term operating costs.

“We see more companies relying on purpose-built material handlers throughout our trade territory, especially at scrap and pipe yards and in portside applications,” said President/Owner of B-C Equipment, Bill R. Lathrop Jr. “We are very proud of our company’s work ethics and the equipment lines we support, and we represent the best equipment manufacturers in the industry. This all combines to provide our customers solutions for their equipment needs.”

Serving the south Texas compact and heavy equipment markets for 28 years, B-C Equipment has represented Terex Construction Americas’ compact equipment line for eight years. Focused on specific markets and not trying to be the largest equipment supplier on the market, B-C Equipment provides personalized sales and after-the-sale support for its customers. The company offers local service from its Corpus Christi headquarters and two branch locations — San Antonio and La Feria.

B-C Equipment offers financing options for Terex Fuchs equipment through Terex Financial Services (TFS). TFS offers a wide range of effective finance and leasing solutions, structured to complement customers’ cash flow and budgets. TFS assists in all areas of asset management, from the analysis of future equipment values through the disposal of used equipment.

B-C Equipment’s headquarters can be found at 809 Corn Product Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78409.
