Terex Roadbuilding is partnering with Stafford to expand distribution for the manufacturer’s asphalt mobile equipment in the state of Georgia.

Stafford now offers Terex Roadbuilding customers local sales and support for a broad range of asphalt paving, reclamation/stabilization and milling equipment.

“Stafford has served our asphalt paving equipment customers well as the dealer in the Carolinas, and we look forward to this same level of support for our asphalt mobile equipment in Georgia,” said Gary Hirsch, vice president of dealer development for Terex Roadbuilding.

Stafford now carries the full line of Terex Cedarapids asphalt paving equipment, including asphalt pavers, screeds and material transfer devices and vehicles, throughout the entire state of Georgia.

“The addition of Terex mobile asphalt equipment to our arsenal now means that we’re able to offer more quality equipment to even more construction segments than ever before,” said John D. Wall, president and CEO of Stafford. “We are particularly excited about the new opportunities presented with the paving equipment line, since the CR662RM material transfer vehicle has met some very high standards and is now approved to be used as an MTV in the state of Georgia.”

In addition to offering the Terex Cedarapids paving equipment line, Stafford’s north Georgia locations have started to offer sales and support for the Terex CMI reclaimer/stabilizer and milling equipment lines.

Billy Brice, vice president and general manager for Stafford’s north Georgia locations, said, “We are very pleased to be able to offer the vast paving, reclaiming/stabilizing and milling equipment lines to highway contractors in our area. With the mobile asphalt equipment lines from Terex Roadbuilding and Stafford’s commitment to parts and service, hot mix asphalt contractors in Georgia can’t go wrong.”

Stafford also represents equipment from the Terex Construction business segment from its Roanoke, Va., location as well as its Tifton, Douglas and Valdosta, Ga., locations. Stafford also has been recognized as the Top Terex Crane dealer in the United States for a second straight year, representing rough terrain cranes, American crawler cranes, Demag all terrain and crawler cranes, boom trucks and truck cranes from all 11 of its locations.
