Construction Equipment Guide

For Terex Cranes, 2009 was a very productive year, introducing new crane models to increase productivity, new truck and crane cabs for enhanced ease-of-use and comfort, new safety features for security and new configurations for greater reach and capacity.

A new family member on the Port Equipment sector. In 2009, Terex acquired the Fantuzzi and Noell port equipment businesses, which have joined the Terex Cranes family. The acquisition allowed Terex to expand its product offerings in the port equipment segment with quay cranes, yard cranes and mobile equipment.

Believed to be the world’s most powerful, roadable, boom-on All Terrain Crane, the new Terex AC 1000 remains remarkably compact and versatile for a crane in the 1,320 ton (1,200 t) class.

The surprisingly compact AC 100/4L all terrain crane with a main boom length of 180 ft. (59.4 m) is ideal for a broad range of applications.

With a total length of 54.8 ft. (16.7 m), the AC 350/6 is the smallest six-axle and most compact mobile crane in the 386-ton (350 t) class. This jack-of-all-trades can be used throughout an extraordinarily wide range of applications, according to the manufacturer. CQ
