The vertical-lift path Terex TSV-90 skid steer loader offers operators an 85-hp Tier IV-interim compliant Cummins turbocharged engine, 3,375 lb. of rated operating capacity and 131 in. (333 cm) of lift height to easily complete heavy pick-and-carry and large production-loading applications. Built on a chassis that boasts 10.5 in. (26.6 cm) of ground clearance and a 25.5-degree angle of departure, the TSV-90 loader is easily able to work on soft, uneven terrain and slopes, according to the manufacturer.
The Terex TSV-90 skid steer loader is designed for productivity. The TSV-90 loader boasts an operating weight of 9,430 lb. (4,277 kg), a tipping load capacity of 6,750 lb. (3,062 kg) and a bucket breakout force of 5,820 lb. This powerful skid steer loader also has 8,700 lb. of tractive effort and a 23-gal. (87 L) fuel tank capacity to meet tough job site demands. The TSV-90 loader also comes standard with mechanical-faced axle seals to protect bearings during operation and reduce maintenance and downtime. It is available with an optional two-speed hydrostatic drive system that allows operators to select low for maximum torque or high for faster travel speeds up to 12 mph (19 kmh).
“With the introduction of the TSV-90, Terex now has a heavy-lifting, high-production skid steer loader for the ’muscle machine’ market, which is generally considered to be any skid steer loader with more than 3,100 pounds of rated operating capacity,” said Jamie Wright, product manager, Terex Construction Americas. “Even with its powerful performance capabilities, the TSV-90 skid steer loader is compact enough to easily maneuver in and around confined or congested work sites. These features combined allow Terex to reach more customers, including large construction and heavy highway contractors, with a machine that is specifically designed to meet, and even exceed, their skid steer loader needs.”
The Terex TSV-90 skid steer loader also is designed with load-sensing hydraulics to help ensure that fuel and energy are not wasted on surplus hydraulic power, so operators can push material, dig, grade and drive-through the toughest job site conditions, yet conserve power when requirements are less demanding. Equipped with a hydraulic fan cooling system that needs less engine horsepower to run than mechanical systems, the TSV-90 loader offers clean, efficient cooling and increased production. Its open design, with tilt-up ROPS and tilt-out coolers, enables operators and service technicians to easily access all critical components, making daily maintenance checks quick and simple.
To get more done on every job site, Terex offers performance-matched attachments for its TSV-90 skid steer loader, including auger, backhoe, rotary broom, general purpose bucket, light-material bucket, multi-purpose bucket, dozer blade, pallet forks, power box rake, snow blade, snow blower, stump grinder, trencher, vibratory roller and the Loegering Eliminator rake. Each attachment comes standard with the necessary hydraulic lines and connectors or electric connections for a quick, easy fit. To increase operator comfort and ease of operation, the TSV-90 is engineered with standard pilot-operated joystick controls and an ergonomic operator’s station.
