Terramac LLC, a manufacturer of rubber-track crawler carriers, has delivered its 100th RT9 rubber-track crawler carrier unit to its newest dealer, Groff Tractor & Equipment, headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

The dealer provides equipment sales, rentals, applications expertise and parts and service support for the RT9 throughout Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.

"We are pleased to partner with Groff Tractor & Equipment and we are very proud that they have shared in the celebration of an important milestone for Terramac by taking delivery of our 100th production unit," said Mike Crimaldi, CEO of Terramac LLC. "Adding Groff Tractor to our dealer network helps meet the growing demand for our RT9 crawler carriers and allows us to offer our customers more localized and accessible support. We always go the extra mile for our customers, and we seek partners, like Groff Tractor, that are committed to doing the same."

"Our team at Groff Tractor is excited to represent a reputable brand like Terramac," said Mike Savastio, president and CEO of Groff Tractor & Equipment. "The Terramac RT9 crawler carrier has proven to be quite popular with our customers. We were pleased to take delivery of the 100th production unit."

"After only 18 months since production began on the RT9 crawler carrier, Terramac has crossed the 100-unit production threshold," Crimaldi said. "This milestone, combined with the continued growth and expansion of Terramac's dealer network, are clear indicators that our strategy for growth is succeeding."

With an operating weight of 26,000 lbs. (11,794 kg) and a maximum carrying capacity of 18,000 lbs. (8,165 kg), the RT9 is the largest mid-sized rubber-track carrier that does not require special oversize permitting to transport the machine. The rubber tracks and low ground pressure allow the unit to cover a variety of ground and adverse weather conditions.

Equipped with front and rear bolt-on connections, the multi-purpose Terramac RT9 crawler carrier has been customized to fit more than 15 different industry specific applications and can tackle a variety of jobs, including suppressing tailings dust on mines, holding welding equipment for oil and gas pipelines, and laying dirt in environmentally sensitive areas for general construction.

Customization of the Terramac RT9 extends beyond the type of equipment mounted on the bed. These crawler carriers can be ordered from the factory with the correct body configuration to accept custom accessories. Additional options for the RT9 include a back-up camera, bed lights, radio, flat bed, dump bed, track cleats and an engine filter kit.

Terramac and Groff Tractor offer a wide range of parts and accessories available for purchase, as well as replacement parts such as rubber tracks, expendables and undercarriage parts (including rollers, sprockets, idlers and travel motors). Parts are in stock and can be delivered quickly to minimize downtime.
