Construction Equipment Guide

The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), the leading association for the work truck industry, launched the new Market Data and Industry Statistics section of NTEA.com. This new section, designed to support members in the running of their businesses, provides comprehensive statistics and market data ranging from the latest trends in U.S. truck sales and registrations to commodity pricing and global commercial truck market data, plus leading industry indicators and forecasts, accompanied by insight, interpretation and analysis.

The new section on Market Data and Industry Statistics will serve as the one-stop to find the latest market data from sources including R.L. Polk, IHS Global Insight and Ward’s Automotive, according to NTEA.

According to NTEA Executive Director Jim Carney, “As the work truck industry continues to feel the impact of the economic downturn, our association can provide critical information to members — by providing them with the most up-to-date market and competitive intelligence — and have it all available at their fingertips. This type of comprehensive data will help our members track trends, assess changes in the business environment, and interpret forecasts, which can be invaluable to decision-making and business planning.”
