Trombia Airknife Sweeper attachments were introduced to the U.S. markets during the past year. Now, the addition of Finke Equipment to Trombia dealership network further expands the product availability in the United States. Trombia sweepers are designed to combat silica dust challenges in working sites and industrial plants, as well as street dust challenges in municipal streets.
Trombia sweeper attachments have been developed to exploit the wheel loaders in year-round street and area maintenance and to assist public and private sector to sweep and collect away the finest dust particles and at the same time optimize their fleets' idle time. They have been designed to be completely filter-free by using technology combining air-knife dust cleaning, mechanical sweeping, vacuum and cyclone separation. Inside Trombia's sweeping chamber the sweeping process is carried out fully waterless, which enables contractors to clean and sweep with higher accuracy and perfection in sweeping result, according to the manufacturer.
"We started with demos and presenting the product in Upstate New York and New England last summer and followed with the first units delivered to end customers across the region. We have now started expansion of the dealership network in U.S. and we have brought Trombia parts depot over the Atlantic. We really look forward to working with Finke Equipment in New York State, as their strong sales and service reputation will further speed up the market expansion," said Antti Nikkanen, CEO of Trombia Sweepers.
"Finke Equipment is very excited to add Trombia sweepers to its product line. Trombia provides a solution for both the municipal street sweeping and heavy industrial sweeping applications. Municipalities and contractors often cannot justify purchasing a street sweeper truck due to its high price tag. Trombia has solved this problem by creating its cost effective wheel loader attachment which will give the customer further utilization of their equipment and also take care of their dust/debris issue," said Jared Finke, Robert H Finke & Sons Inc.
For municipalities, industrial plants and contractors Trombia delivers a solution for both heavier debris, sand and millings as well as fine dust removal with fully dry surfaces year-round. Saving time in water refills and optimizing machinery fleets increases sweeping efficiency year-round. Investment costs for Trombia sweeper attachments are marginal compared to the likes of self-propelled city sweepers with similar-level fine dust sweeping capabilities.
"Excellent fine dust and heavy debris sweeping performance, speed, fully dry sweeping surfaces and marginal downtime without any filters, conveyor belts or suction engines to maintain are the key value propositions of Trombia. In the end it all adds up to an excellent return on investment for both the sweeper as well as the wheel loader that now gets year-round serious road maintenance work," Nikkanen said.
