Gilbane Building Company and Daniel Keating are pleased to announce the integration of Keating Consulting, LLC into Gilbane Building Company's Philadelphia, Pa., operations.

Daniel Keating will take on a leadership role at Gilbane, where he will support the continued expansion of the Philadelphia Business Unit led by Vice President, Shawn Carlin, and Senior Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Division, Paul Choquette III.

Gilbane and Keating Consulting, LLC are excited by the joining of two family-owned and culturally compatible organizations.

“Since 1873, Gilbane has been a world-class builder of some of the most prominent, award-winning projects nationally and around the globe,” said Dan Keating. “While this well-deserved prestige is inspiring, it's Gilbane's exceptional corporate culture that has truly impressed me the most. Gilbane is a people-focused company and to me, that's a huge differentiator.”

“We are eager to leverage the rich local history and combined resources of both organizations as part of our plan for continued strategic growth,” said Michael E. McKelvy, president and CEO of Gilbane Building Company.

The combined operation will strengthen Gilbane's capacity in the greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey areas to accommodate both a growing backlog of work and a robust pipeline of future opportunities. Gilbane will add the expertise of Keating's people in multiple market segments such as gaming, hospitality and criminal justice. Gilbane's resources, financial stability and national footprint will allow for a further leveraging of their expertise and relationships.
