Cashman Equipment, Las Vegas and Reno, NV, recently announced the following personnel changes:
Rod Skinner, a veteran of the heavy equipment industry, has been named manager of technical services. The new position consolidates several critical technical, training and service functions at Cashman. Based in Las Vegas, Skinner will have responsibilities that encompass all of the company’s facilities.
Skinner’s background spans a quarter-century of service to Caterpillar dealerships in Oregon, California and Texas, where he served as a technician, trainer, supervisor and manager in every respect of service operations.
Cashman recently welcomed Steve Nefzger as used equipment salesman. Joining Cashman from Wisconsin-based Cat dealer FABCO, Nefzger brings more than 24 years’ experience in heavy equipment aftermarket sales to Cashman’s growing sales division.
Nefzger will be based in Las Vegas, but the scope of his responsibility will encompass territory East of the Rocky Mountains, including overseas markets, Canada and South America.
For nearly seven decades, Cashman Equipment has been providing Caterpillar equipment, parts and service to the mining, logging, construction, paving, truck engine and power systems industries throughout Nevada. Cashman Equipment has headquarters in Las Vegas and Reno with field offices in Elko, Winnemucca, Battle Mountain, Round Mountain and Susanville, CA.
