Ingersoll-Rand is expanding its distributorship network with the addition of US Equipment as a new utility products distributor. The Martinez, GA-based company now provides Ingersoll-Rand products to customers throughout the Central Savannah River area.

US Equipment became an Ingersoll-Rand utility product distributor because of its knowledge and experience with Ingersoll-Rand products.

“We recognized the need for Ingersoll-Rand representation in this area and took advantage of the opportunity,” said Kenny Durden Jr., president of US Equipment. “Many of our employees have prior experience with Ingersoll-Rand products, and their expertise makes Ingersoll-Rand an ideal match for us.”

US Equipment carries a number of utility products in its territory:

• backhoe loaders;

• small air compressors, up to 425 cfm;

• light towers;

• small generators, up to 115 kVA;

• small asphalt and soil compactors, up to 7 tons (6.4 t);

• light compaction equipment; and

• concrete equipment.

For US Equipment, being an Ingersoll-Rand utility distributor is in addition to the company’s current responsibilities.

“The new and expanded line of Ingersoll-Rand utility products will provide more and better solutions for our customers by giving them quality products with a brand name they know and trust,” Durden said. “The Ingersoll-Rand brand alone will generate interest and instant business. Because we’re a locally owned and operated equipment store, selling Ingersoll-Rand products gives us a ’leg up’ in the eyes of our present and future customers –– and customers are responding very well to the new line.”

Ingersoll-Rand is excited to announce this addition and welcomes US Equipment to the utility family.

Ingersoll-Rand utility distributors focus on small- to mid-sized contractors with sales, service and rentals.
