Upright was founded in 1946 and first began as a scaffolding business. In 1972, Upright began manufacturing Scissor Lifts, and these aerial lifts soon became the company?s main source of revenue. In 2007 Upright purchased Snorkel, and in 2010 made the decision to use Snorkel as the sole brand name for the company moving forward.
