Vanir Construction Management Inc. announced that Judith Wallace has been re-elected to serve a second three-year term on the national board of directors of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
CMAA was formed in 1982 to establish standards to manage capital construction projects. Throughout her 15-year involvement with CMAA, Wallace has served as president of the Northern California chapter and was chair of the National Conference in 2000. Wallace will continue to help the organization support the construction management profession, and to promote the importance of an integrated and managed approach to planning, design and construction of the built environment.
“We are proud to have Judith represent Vanir on the CMAA national board of directors and continue to give back to the CM industry,” said Guy Mehula, president of Vanir Construction Management. “Judith is one of the leading women in the construction management industry and CMAA will continue to benefit from her decades of experience and knowledge.”
Wallace, who joined Vanir in 1992, has devoted a 35-year career to project management, on-site construction management, architectural programming, cost estimating, regulatory agency liaison and contract administration. She also opened and led Vanir's San Francisco area office. Since 2013, Wallace has served as vice president and chief marketing officer in charge of Vanir's marketing, corporate communications and business development efforts.
