Vantage Auctions Draws Record Crowd

Vantage Auctions held a sale on Aug. 11 at its facility in Lake Elsinore, Calif. The day began with a party atmosphere, as the crowd enjoyed a combination of sun, music and the smell of barbeque.

Vantage had a productive day and experienced a record number of buyer registration and participation, both in person and online. The auction also drew a large number of multi-state participants eager to see and test various pieces of equipment.

Robert LaMarsh, president, had this to say about the turnout: “As our economy continues to improve, we are seeing higher auction results for our consignors. It was a great day for all.”

Carrie (L) and husband Derek Wells, holding their future family developers, Luke and Brynn, drove straight through from Salt Lake City to attend this sale. Wells, a developer, is working simultaneously on four projects and needs additional equipment, including this 2008 Caterpillar 262C skid steer.

George Kharoufeh of Riverside, Calif., needs equipment for his new start-up construction company. This 2009 Kubota U25 mini excavator caught his eye.

Allan Tillman (L) and his mother, Tanya, of Tillman Construction of Santa Rosa, Calif., lost everything in the recent fires. They came to auction to start to rebuild their equipment inventory. This 2014 Case 570NXT wheel loader is one of several pieces Tanya hopes to leave with.

Mother and daughter, Carrie (L) and Grace Clifford made it a fun day while searching for additional equipment for their family business, Clifford Electrical in Menifee, Calif. Grace tests out the comfort factor on this 2001 Hyster H35XM industrial forklift.

Ali Tashakori, owner of AT Construction in Palo Verde, Calif., looks over this JCB 508-40 Loadall telescopic forklift.

Alejandra Lua of Riverside, Calif., came to help her dad out with his equipment export business in Michoacan, Mexico. Lua is looking for equipment such as this 2006 Hyundai Robex 360LC-7 excavator.

Chris Collinsworth of Pacific Construction, Fontana, Calif., evaluates this 2011 Bobcat 324 mini excavator.
