The Montgomery County Public Works Association held its Bi-Annual Trade Show Oct. 13 in Horsham Township, Pa.

This event, sponsored by Municibid, marked the 50th anniversary of the association, which was founded in 1966 by Bill Stewart, who was in attendance and honored with a Pennsylvania State Legislature Proclamation and the PECO Crown Lights Award.

More than 300 attendees from local public works departments attended the event and enjoyed having the opportunity to meet with more than 50 equipment dealers and other vendors. Attendees also were able to demonstrate their heavy equipment operating skills by participating in equipment rodeo competitions throughout the day.
