W.I. Clark, Wallingford, Plainfield, and Brookfield, Conn., has taken over the sales, service and parts responsibilities in Hartford and Middlesex counties for John Deere backhoes, small crawlers and small loaders. W.I. Clark has been selling the larger equipment for the entire state since 1975 and the backhoes, small crawlers and small loaders in the other counties since 1995.

Doug Hansen, president of W.I. Clark, said, “This is a very exciting opportunity for our company. We have always had a lot of respect for the Lomac organization and the way they treated their customers. Our goal is for Harry and David Lowenstein’s customers to feel they have not lost any service in this transition. We will merge this new business into our current operations.”

Hansen assures all of W.I. Clark’s customers, old and new, that W.I. Clark will still focus on providing the same quality support from its three locations they have been known for. “Between our Wallingford and Plainfield locations, we have eight service trucks and a lube truck that can be quickly dispatched. This allows us to be very reactive and flexible to all our customers’ needs.”
