Wacker Neuson has named Sander Power Equipment in Trevose, Pa., and Allentown, Pa., and Pump & Power Equipment in Jessup, Md., exclusive distributors for its compact equipment line.

“Both of our companies have been Wacker light equipment dealers for well over 25 years so it was natural for us to take on the new line of compact equipment,” said Rich Sander, president of Sander Power Equipment and Pump & Power. “We have had an excellent relationship with Wacker and we were looking for some new opportunities with them. Wacker just recently merged with Neuson out of Austria and Weidemann out of Germany who have been producing this equipment for over 40 years in Europe.”

Sander Power will be the distributor for the Delaware Valley area as well as the Lehigh Valley area in Pennsylvania, while Pump & Power will be the distributor for the Baltimore/Washington, D.C., area.

Both companies are offering Wacker Neuson’s full line of compact equipment, which includes articulated compact loaders, four-wheel steer compact loaders, five models of mini-excavators and a line of unique dumpers with many applications. The dumpers can be used by golf course contractors, utility contractors, general contractors and more.

According to Sander, his sales representatives already have experience with the compact equipment business having been a distributor for a line of mini-excavators and skid steer loaders several years ago. Territory managers will be attending the Wacker Neuson sales training school starting in October.

Sander is excited to bring the Wacker Neuson compact line to his customers in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

“We know this is a great opportunity for our companies and an even greater opportunity for our current and new customers to benefit by using this equipment,” he said. “This high quality equipment will save our customers money because the equipment is very inexpensive to operate compared with similar equipment. They burn 30 percent less fuel and tire wear is reduced by 50 percent. The equipment has been designed with the operator in mind with more cab room and better visibility.

“This line of compact equipment is available for free job site demonstrations by our sales team and also by the Wacker Neuson field sales team. We also are now renting this equipment at our locations.”

Sander Power Equipment is the authorized Flygt submersible pump distributor and also carries Gorman Rupp diesel pumps, Honda pumps and generators, Airman compressors, Wacker Neuson diesel generators, trench rollers, light towers, plate compactors and rammers. The company also carries a large stock of Diamond Blades, HDPE pipe up to 18 in. and loads of hose to 12 in. Sander Power is an authorized dealer for AGL Lasers.

Pump & Power Equipment carries the same lineup as Sander Power Equipment except for the AGL Laser line.
