Westchester Tractor will be part of the “Super Sizing” generation tripling its size when it moves in the fall.

Westchester Tractor is relocating from its current location at 14 Meadow St. in Goldens Bridge, NY, to a new facility at 60 International Blvd. in Brewster, NY, to better serve its customers.

The new Brewster facility located just off I-84 will allow for easy truck and trailer mobility for customers bringing their equipment in and out of the site.

Westchester Tractor, which has been at Meadow Street for the past 30 years, will be moving into a new 35,000-sq.-ft. facility, which is literally three times larger than its current site. The company’s 1-acre equipment yard will expand to 5 acres at its new location.

In addition, the new shop will have 14 bays, which will offer faster turn around times for assembly and rebuilding. The company will continue to provide on-site repair and maintenance service with its fleet of service trucks.

The shop also will feature three pedestal 5- to 10-ton cranes, which will improve the ease of working on larger machines.

“The increased floor space will allow us to dramatically expand the parts inventory of the companies we represent, which include New Holland Construction; New Holland Agricultural; Kobelco; Kubota; Volvo excavators; Brush Bandit; and Rayco stump grinders,” said John Apple, president of Westchester Tractor.

“We service a large sales territory and this new more centralized location will help us better serve our customers located in Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan and Orange counties,” he said.

Westchester Tractor is a family-owned and operated business. Apple is joined by his wife Donna, warranty administrator and son, Matt, who recently returned from the service with the U.S. Marine Corps. He is working in the parts department while attending Western Connecticut Business School.

In addition to members of the Apple family, Jeff Underhill, vice president and Josephine Letizia, secretary, help to keep the operation running smoothly.
