Montabert, a leader in rock breaking and drilling equipment, is giving media and show attendees an in-depth look at its variety of offerings during ConExpo-Con/AGG, displaying more than six of its major products during the show in Las Vegas, March 7 – 11, inside booth #C30030. Some of the products on display include:
The all-purpose hydraulic breaker provides operators with superior power-to-weight ratio and can easily demolish oversized boulders and thick concrete, delivering up to 870 blows per minute. It is ideal for use with backhoe loaders and excavators weighing between 17,637 and 39,683 lbs, perfect for applications in road building, demolition and trenching. Its standard features include a blank-fire protection and energy recovery system that recycles energy to increase striking power. An automatic lubrication system and a fully enclosed cradle reduce noise, protect against debris and impact damage, and reduce wear. The 501 NG falls within the 2,000 foot-pound impact energy class and requires a hydraulic flow rate between 21 and 37 gallons per minute.
Montabert offers eight SC-Series hydraulic breaker models designed for use with skid-steer loaders, backhoe loaders and mini-excavators weighing between 2,200 and 30,850 lbs. The models on display include the SC 42 and SC 28, designed for lighter demolition applications and featuring fully-enclosed, sound-proof cradles to minimize harmful vibrations, limit jobsite noise and protect working parts from dust and debris. These light-range hydraulic breakers have few wear parts and no tie rods for simplified routine maintenance.
The PCT 114 was recently added to Montabert's plate compactor/driver model product line for efficiently making compact soil trenches, seawalls, slopes and foundations. It is approved for carrier weights ranging from 15,870 to 55,115 lbs., with a dynamic force of 11,350 lbs. and a compaction frequency of 2,000 vibrations per minute (vpm). The PCT 114 features a flat-top mount design to allow for bracket caps to be easily added based on the machine being used and four outboard shock mounts to evenly distribute vibrations, keep the attachment level, improve compaction efficiency and extend component life.
