XL Specialized Trailers recently opened a fully functioning trailer service center located across the street from its headquarters and main manufacturing facility in Manchester, Iowa. The service center is designed specifically to service trailers: lowboys, flatbeds and other trailer models.

XL plans to use its expert trailer knowledge to tackle many types of service work — everything from preventative maintenance to full restoration.

“We are very excited to announce the opening of this service center,” said Rodney Crim, vice president of sales at XL. “Heavy haul trailers are an investment. Extending their lifecycle is important for our customers, therefore it is important to us. We have been servicing trailers for years, and now this service center will allow us to handle trailer service work on a large scale.”

The location next to the manufacturing facility makes all of XL's engineering and production resources readily available if needed. All service center work will continue to be processed through XL's customer service department.

“We don't want to turn anyone away,” said Josh Doyle, customer service manager at XL. “With our background knowledge of specialized trailers, we can complete a wide variety of projects.”
