Yanmar Names Senior Manager of Training, Customer Experience Center

Yanmar America announced Tim Miller has been named the senior manager of the company's new training and customer experience center currently under construction in Acworth, Ga. Miller has more than 24 years of experience in learning development, training and equipment in the agriculture, mining and construction industries.

In his new role, Miller will be responsible for the direction and delivery of innovative, solutions-driven learning across all business units and aspects of the company. He also will be in charge of ensuring an excellent customer experience for all visitors to the new center.

“Yanmar America's new training facility will allow us to offer proper training for all aspects of our business, while also providing premium customer experiences through partnerships with the local communities and industry partners. Tim's vast experience and industry knowledge will only serve to enhance our efforts. We are extremely fortunate to have him leading this new venture,” said Tim Fernandez, president of Yanmar America.

Prior to joining Yanmar, Miller was most recently the senior manager of dealer development training and Kubota University of Kubota Tractor Corporation. Other experience includes global training and learning management, product marketing management and similar related roles for several industry-leading corporations.
