The auctions provided an extensive variety of construction and farm equipment, with each day of the six-day sale featuring different equipment categories. Motorgraders, paving and compaction machines, along with sweepers, vacuum and concrete trucks went up for bid on the first day.

The second day of the sale featured backhoes, loaders, skid steers, attachments and trenching and boring equipment.

Equipment up for bid on the third day included crawler tractors and loaders, off-highway water trucks, and engines, generators and power units.

Equipment on days four and five included excavators, off-road trucks, forklifts, manlifts and cranes.

The final day of the sale focused largely on farm equipment and vocational trucks. The auction drew bidders from around the world to the sale site, while attracting heavy online bidding, as well. Equipment prices were strong and, in total, buyers from 59 countries purchased equipment at the sale.

Yoder & Frey's recent merger with Euro Auctions combines the strengths and expertise of both companies, while offering clients increased buying and selling options along with global reach and access. Established in 1998, Euro Auctions conducts 35 auctions in six countries annually and has maintained a permanent auction site in Atlanta, Ga., for the past four years. Yoder & Frey has been conducting auctions domestically for the past 52 years and is the originator of the now famous annual Kissimmee, Fla., consignment auction.

The company's next auction is scheduled for March 23 in Atlanta and will be promoted under the Yoder & Frey Auctioneers name. The auction will feature a large selection of machines and equipment from major brands including Caterpillar, New Holland, Doosan, Komatsu, JCB, Bomag, Hamm and Sterling. —CEG
