On April 2, Ziegler CAT treated nearly 300 customers to an equipment rodeo in Fergus Falls, Minn. More than 40 pieces of new Cat, AGCO and LEXION equipment were on display inside Northern Minnesota’s premier horse arena, Red Horse Ranch.

The rodeo began with Ziegler product managers and demo operators explaining the features and benefits of the new equipment parading by. The machines included wheel loaders, motorgraders, excavators, dozers, skid steer loaders, tractors, combines, sprayers and more. Attendees then enjoyed a hot lunch of pulled pork, potato salad and cookies.

After lunch, customers got a chance to climb into the cabs and try out the controls. They also tested their skills in the Ziegler CAT simulator, programmed to simulate the operation of a dozer, wheel loader and motorgrader.

Rental and power equipment added to the diverse lineup, and Ziegler partners Alexandria Technical and Community College and Central Lakes College also had booths at the event.

Ziegler gave away more than a dozen prizes, including toys, copies of Ziegler’s 100-year history book, Cat merchandise certificates and a free 50-hour demo on a 236D skid steer loader.
